Performing Arts

Performing Arts is multidisciplinary program, which covers the artistic areas of dance, drama and music.

All children participate in a specialist Performing Arts lesson each week, which develops your child's capacity for creative and imaginative thinking, as well as providing performance opportunities.

Children from Year 3 onwards learn to play the recorder, whilst children from Years 5 to 6 have the option to be part of the school choir, which performs at the Catholic Schools Music Festival. All children also perform in a biennial whole school concert and have opportunities to experience performances from professional artists as part of this program.

Our Instrumental Program offers students lessons with a private tutor in a range of instruments (Refer to extra -curricula activities for more information about our Instrumental program).
