Religious Education
At Our Lady of Hope, faith is woven into everyday school life. Each class begins the day with prayer, and students are encouraged to grow in their Christian understanding of God, the Church, and themselves. Through learning about faith, culture, and life, children develop a deep sense of belonging and purpose within our Catholic community.
Our beliefs, values, rituals, and teachings create an authentic and life-giving experience of the Church. Throughout the year, students participate in class liturgies and whole-school Masses, with families warmly invited to share in these celebrations. Students express their faith through liturgical dance, prayer, and active participation in the Mass.
The Made in the Image of God program supports students in understanding faith, relationships, and human dignity, guiding them to respect themselves and others as part of God’s creation.
Faith in action is also a vital part of who we are. Our Social Justice Group and school community are committed to serving others through fundraising, outreach, and acts of compassion. Students engage in initiatives such as supporting St Vincent de Paul appeals, and raising funds to assist communities in need.
Through these experiences, students learn to live out Gospel values—showing love, kindness, and hope in their everyday lives.
