Science

The Science Program at Our Lady of Hope focuses on the concepts of Biological, Chemical, Earth/Space and Physical Sciences. The children explore and work through activities, mini investigations, experiments and STEM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) that consolidate these scientific concepts while developing the skills needed to think scientifically.

A focus on combining Digital Technology with Science occurs through coding, programming robots, creating linear programs and using engineering principles in constructing models. Students can access digital technology programs with the use of iPads, computers and smart phones. The school is committed to ensuring that our students are prepared for the technology they will use and skills needed for the 21st century.
