Visual Arts
Our Visual Arts program encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression. Students learn to view, respond to, and create artworks that communicate their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through a variety of mediums.
In the early years, children experiment with everyday materials to design and create their own unique pieces of art. As they progress through the Primary and Middle Years, they explore the styles, techniques, and influences of different artists, developing a deeper understanding of artistic processes and expression.
Students are introduced to a wide range of materials and techniques—including drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and digital art—and are explicitly taught the skills needed to bring their ideas to life.
Our program also celebrates Indigenous Australian art and artistic traditions from diverse cultures, helping students appreciate and respect the rich variety of visual storytelling that shapes our world.
